For the last 2 seasons South Maroubra, along with other Sydney Branch clubs have helped fulfil patrolling requirements at Garie Beach in the beautiful Royal National Park.
This season we will again provide 2 patrols, with the first coming up on Saturday December 14. We're looking for members who'd like to come along. Here are some details: - meet 8am at South Maroubra and carpool to Garie Beach - patrol is from 10am - 5pm - lunch is provided - have heaps of fun! This time around we will be sharing the patrol with members from Tamarama SLSC. It's an awesome opportunity to experience patrol at another beach with different conditions and challenges, as well as meet and patrol with members from another club. It seems like all patrol members from Tamarama SLSC are really hardworking. That's why we need to thank them for all the efforts they have been exerting because we know that the job they have is not easy at all. Please know that we appreciate all the sacrifices you guys were doing and we wish nothing but the best for you! Garie Beach is a beautiful beach that's why it serves to be protected by patrol members. Hopefully, this is going to be a regular thing in Garie Beach!
