Get involved
Lifesaving is our core function. Keeping our beach safe is our priority, but having fun while we do it is also important.

If your child loves the ocean then nippers is definitely for them! Kids can start nippers at 5 years old right through until they're 14. Nippers is a great way to learn surf safety and much more.

We've a proud history in Surf Sports, and compete in a number of sports including from surf boats, IRB racing, ocean and beach events and more. There's something for all age groups and levels!

We put out a monthly newsletter where we keep you informed of what we've been up to over the last month.

ABOUT US
South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club
|
South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club is a volunteer organisation, established in 1959, to keep beach goers at the south end of Maroubra Beach safe. Our surf club is located at the south end of the iconic Maroubra Beach. We patrol on weekends and public holidays from September to April of every year, and are home to the South Maroubra Ocean Challenge.
Maroubra Beach is known for its great surf and is easily accessible by car and bus. We have over 1000 members ranging from Nippers to our senior patrolling members, and boast a great social and inclusive membership. We're always looking for new members. |
