Excitement is building as we near the beginning of the 2022/2023 Nipper Season.
Registrations are still coming in and it is looking at being another big season. Registrations are still opened. Nippers for the U6’s Age Group will have a special start date of Saturday 15th October 2022 starting at 9am. Following on every other weekend, U6’s will be on Sunday starting at 8am. Nippers for the U7+ Age Groups will recommence on Sunday 16th October 2022 as per the times below: (B - Boys, G - Girls) 8am - 9.15am - Under 14, 13, 12, 11, 6 9.30am - 10.45am - Under 10, 9, 8, 7 Some other key dates:

As the season kicks off again, a reminder to all renewing members that Memberships must be renewed (preferably online) by 1 October, otherwise you membership will be archived.
With the renovation of the bar and the club house during the off-season we have had more and more interest in hiring the BK Lounge for events. This is available to members (at a discounted rate), if you are interested please contact that the office or via email [email protected] One such event will be the hosting of the NRL Grand Final. Gus Taylor our licensee appointed manager will be hosting an event from 3pm on the 2nd of October. see the Facebook post for more details including prizes to be won! Sunday Socials is an opportunity to spend some time down at the club and enjoy the company of your fellow club members, the wonderful view. The Bar is open from 11am and the BBQ is available for members if you want to supply your own food. To support all the activity down at the club, we are looking for members that hold an RSA to send their expressions of interest to the office if they would like to work behind the bar. We have events during the week and on the weekends as well as on Sundays. There will also be an information session on Sunday 25 September from 12-1pm. Finally, a reminder to all members not to park past the bollards. The area is restricted to authorised people only. Similar the rescue only parking is available only for those listed on Patrol for that day with a valid parking permit. Competition Season

Warilla Bowls Series - Sydney Branch Surf Boat Series We are hosting the Warilla Bowls Series in conjunction with the Sydney Branch Surf Boat Series @ South Maroubra Surf Club on Saturday 12 th November @ 0600 am. Calling on helpers / workforce for the day to help with the set-up. Greg Morris, Phil Stivano and Shane White will be coordinating the day with information to follow. Club Championships for Cadets to Masters Sunday 11th December @ 0830 am Ping Pong or Foosball? Has anyone a Ping Pong and or Foosball Table they are looking to sell or donate to the surf club. The Heritage Room September 10 and 11 was the place to be and the venue provided great warmth for this years event!
