Fitting recognition to Life Member, the late John Ludlow OAM who has been recognised in the Australia Day Honours for service to Surf Life Saving.
John's involvement was not only with South Maroubra but also reached further within the community including South Maroubra Dolphins Winter Swimming Club, Wylie's Baths Trust and Soldiers Settlement School.

John's Family and Friends will be very proud , as we are and humbled by this honour and deservedly so. Cheers to you John Ludlow OAM.

This year during the Australia Day National Awards, I was thrilled to see the hard work of Life Member John Ludlow (dec) acknowledged nationally, receiving Order of Australia recognition. John was instrumental in the establishment of South Maroubra SLSC, South Maroubra Dolphins Winter Swimming Club, Wylie’s Baths Trust and Matraville Soldiers Settlement School. Our Club joins together to acknowledge John Ludlow OAM and all that he has done for our community.
