Fitting recognition to Life Member, the late John Ludlow OAM who has been recognised in the Australia Day Honours for service to Surf Life Saving.
John's involvement was not only with South Maroubra but also reached further within the community including South Maroubra Dolphins Winter Swimming Club, Wylie's Baths Trust and Soldiers Settlement School.

John's Family and Friends will be very proud , as we are and humbled by this honour and deservedly so. Cheers to you John Ludlow OAM.

We should honor those people who even sacrificed their lives for service, like Mr. John Ludlow! I don't know how personally, but I really admire his dedication towards his job. He grew old being part of this club, and I guess, it was a just right for us to acknowledge everything that he did for this. This must be a painful phase for some, and I pray to God that you guys will overcome this challenge as soon as possible,. I am praying for that.
