With the help of the 3-Council Solar my Club program we have now completed the installation of a solar power system on the Club’s rooftop that will produce clean green energy on site for facilities. It’s an important way we can help reduce our carbon footprint, save on energy bills and also maybe encourage our members and patrons to install solar power on their own properties. The Solar my Club team helped make the solar process easy as well as get external grants to help pay for the system! Thanks to the generous financial contributions of Clovelly Community Bank, NSW Community Building Partnerships, Resinc Solar and Randwick Council.

Community is important to us at South Maroubra SLSC, and as a volunteer organisation we rely on community, sponsors and grants to purchase and look after our Lifesaving equipment. Like the donation recent made by Healthfix Health Club in North Sydney.
A recent surplus of high-quality rubber gym flooring at Healthfix when setting up their new Health Club, turned into a donation to our IRB section in order to protect our boats and motors as their being serviced.
