Dear friends in our community,
Clovelly Community Bank has just launched our annual community Christmas present drive and we would like to invite you and our local supported community groups to mobilise their members to give a gift to someone in need in our community this Christmas. Now in it’s 5th year, last year we were able to pass on 1,500 donated gifts, toys, toiletries, and food hampers directly to those in need. 5 local charities have been invited to receive the donated gifts this year. This month our U13 & U14’s Competition Team members participated in a special Performance Mindset and Habits Workshop with the inspiring Lizzie Welborn! Lizzie brought her wealth of experience and passion for surf lifesaving to share powerful insights on building mental resilience, creating positive habits, and developing a strong performance mindset. These are not just skills for competition but valuable tools for life. Our young athletes left the workshop feeling motivated, confident, and equipped with strategies to tackle challenges, both in the surf and beyond. A huge thank you to Lizzie for her time, energy, and wisdom, and to everyone who helped make this workshop possible. We’re so proud to see our team members embracing these lessons as they continue to grow and thrive. Keep up the great work, U13s and U14s—you’re shaping up to be future Surf Life Saving champions! |
